I Had Subway. It's Not Okay.
Anecdotes

Maybe I'm being overly sensitive to abuse of the English language, but I'm at UCSD. Lord knows that UCSD students are anal-retentive about really nit-picky and minor things. Today I noticed this sign posted at the Subway down in Price Center. I almost pointed out the error to the cashier, but figured that she wouldn't really give a shit and only wanted to give me my change and keep the line moving. I wonder how long until somebody tries to pay with a 50, arguing that their sign says they'll accept it?

dude.
why give the mexican workers a bad time.
they've been mispelling stuff for years.
At least it's real. Most of UCSD is fake.

Ohmigod, it's like, so, like, weird! Know what I mean? I mean, like, totally like that we go to UCSD but can't even like talk like English even if we're like, you know, like born here, you know? Oh, I forgot to say "Uh" a lot, too.

That sign is uh like so lame.
