UCSB Folds Like a Sorority Girl With Syphillis

Shit, I've been putting off this post for a couple weeks.

Around the same time UCSD was threatening us with similar measures, UCSB was trying to force James Baron to dismantle his web site, The Dark Side of UCSB. Mr. Baron actually contacted us in early November of last year in hopes of allying in our fight with the UC, but because I am a lazy asshole when it comes to email (plus their site was just getting started and looked anything but promising) we never set anything up.

Earlier this month, UCSB followed UCSD's lead and ceased their censorship efforts. While no legal precedent has been set at this point, it is at least comforting to see more people standing up to the University of California's legal bullshit.
