Submissions

For this site to be everything we hope it can, we need a wide network of eyes and ears relaying newsworthy information to us like a barnacle filtering nutrition from the sea. We can't guarantee that what you send us runs, but at least your chances are better than in any other campus media outlet. Publishing to the internet gives us lots of advantages: constant updates, unbeatable turnaround, unlimited article space, and nearly infinite audience potential with little overhead. In other words, this is the format of the future. We are well equipped to publicize all the stupid little shit that a print newspaper is incapable of responding to, as well as all the scandalous things they lack the stomach for. Awesome.

What We Want

News, pertinent articles (news or otherwise) from other web sites, rumors, gossip, event notices, party reviews, camera phone images, zany anecdotes, far-fetched stories, party reviews, digital photos, and love letters. Basically, anything interesting is fair game.

Additional Guidelines

  • You may submit anonymously, but doing so casts suspicion upon your entry and will likely hurt its chances of publication. You can provide accurate contact info with your submission and still remain anonymous with respect to the entry that appears on our site — just ask. Giving us a valid email address and name allows us to contact you for further details or confirmation. Providing your UCSD email address automatically vaults you to the top of the heap.
  • We take no responsibility for the events or reactions your submission catalyzes.
  • Particularly stupid missives will be publicly mocked.
  • When you submit an entry, you yield all control and copyrights to us. We are not out to fuck you, but there should be no question that we are in the driver's seat.
  • Aggravating usage of our submission/contact form will be punished. We are nerds, and it would be wise of you not to fuck with us.
  • These guidelines are subject to change. Check back occasionally.
